We have had a bumper harvest season at our Foodbank this Autumn with over 5 tons of food donated over the last 2 months!
Local nurseries, schools, churches, businesses and individuals all gave to our Harvest Appeal, with many of them holding special assemblies, events or team days.

Our project manager spoke at the City Academy Harvest Service Festival, sharing with 600+ secondary school children and their teachers about the work of the foodbank and hows their donations will help people in their local community.
Our largest single donation came from our home church Birmingham City Church. As part of their Harvest Services in October the congregation gave 1.3 tons of food PLUS 300 kg of toiletries & household items.
From September to October we have been able to provide 500 adults and 180 children with emergency food. We have also been able to give out essential items such as loo roll, soap, and sanitary products, washing powder, and tin openers. Without the generosity of our donors this would not have been possible.
